Today is the festival of lights Diwali which is the biggest festival in India, holiday perhaps but I don’t want to miss a chance to take this young couple for trekking around Udaipur (Rajasthan) and showing them our culture, we left the hotel very early to reach the starting point, the trek was a series of uphill and downhill terrain but not very strenuous however the couple from Germany were super fit and were expecting a tough terrain to test their fitness, there were tribal settlements along the valley and we visited some of them to know how these people live, how is their kitchen, how they cook and many other things.
The couple was having a great time walking in the Aravallis, we also saw a group of wild Foxes which was going up the hill and the couple was so astonished to see some wildlife as it was the first time they saw foxes of this kind which were quite bigger than what they have seen earlier, we walked in the hills covered with grass and finished our walk in another village where we were invited by a village family to have a cup of tea with them which was so kind and refreshing at the same time.
After receiving kind hospitality by the host family we drove back to the hotel with beautiful memories.
